Carla Graebner

Carla is the Research Data Services Librarian and Librarian for Government Information at Simon Fraser University. She is active in issues relating to long term access and preservation of government information, as well as labour issues relating to librarians and archivists. She is a member of the Working Group on Intellectual Freedom at the Canadian Centre for Free Expression.

Carla is a former Chair of the CAUT Librarians’ and Archivists’ Committee, past President of the Simon Fraser University Faculty Association and a member of their current bargaining team. She has also been Vice President of the BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association and past co-chair of the British Columbia Library Association’s Information Policy committee.

Carla holds a Master Of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and two BAs (English and Film Studies; Anthropology) from Carleton University.
